Free Heart Health Screening Camp Held at Thanjavur Court Complex

Thanjavur, August 27, 2026:
A free heart health screening camp was organized today at the Additional Bar Association Building in the Thanjavur Integrated Court Complex. The camp was jointly conducted by Apex Heart Hospital, Thanjavur, and the Thanjavur Bar Association for members of the Bar Association.
Camp Inaugurated by Principal District Judge
- The free heart health screening camp was inaugurated by Principal District Judge Irusan Poonguzhali.
- Judges Deepa, Tamil Arasi, Kumar, Chozhavelan, Kanimozhi, and Bharathi attended the event and graced the occasion.
Led by Our Management
- The camp was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Sivasankar and Dr. Ravishankar, Managing Directors of Apex Heart Hospital, Thanjavur.
- Mr. Jeevakumar, President of the Thanjavur Bar Association, and Mr. Prasanna, Secretary of the Association, were present at the event.
Free Heart Health Investigations
As part of the camp, several essential health screenings were provided free of cost, including:
- ECG (Electrocardiogram)
- Echocardiogram (ECHO)
- Diabetes Screening
- Other essential health assessments
- Following the screenings, the participating cardiology team provided medical advice and appropriate guidance to those who underwent the examinations.
Medical Team and Dignitaries
- The camp was supported by doctors from Apex Heart Hospital, including Dr. Nivedhitha Sivasankar, Dr. Kavipriya, and Dr. Bhargavi.
- Mr. Anand, Vice President of the Thanjavur Bar Association, along with Association Secretaries Mr. Jegan and Ms. Mahalakshmi, Treasurer Mr. Anand Prabhu, judges, Bar Association office bearers, hospital staff, and other members also participated in the event.

- The initiative aimed to encourage early detection and prevention of heart-related conditions among members of the legal community and promote greater awareness about the importance of regular heart health check-ups.
